A hunter's son falls asleep while counting leaping deer. One has been shot, another is bleeding and yet a third is limping from a clearing. And horns grow out of the boy's head every night and tear his pillow. A story about instincts, one's first hunt, blood and nature that takes place on the border between fairy tale and horror. Parental tenderness is intertwined with loathing, dreaming with reality and childlike sensitivity with the study of killing.
